The Two Star Design June 2012 Block of the Month - Poppy PassionTwo Star Design is proud to unveil the sixth block for the 2012 Block of the Month series “Hugs & Kisses”.

Holly Anderson has another beautiful block to add to the collection.  June’s Bom is named “Poppy Pride” and we sure are proud of this one!  With “Poppy Pride,” we are half way thru Hugs and Kisses.  (Hint:  You ain’t seen nothin yet!!!  The last six blocks will blow you away!!)  I think this block would make a lovely 3 block tablerunner. Or wouldn’t it look neat as a pillow?  I’m just sayin’.

Each month, we will release the latest block and have the component kit available in our store. Follow along with us and at the end of the year you will have an amazing quilt top. If you get bored along the way, we will also be throwing out ideas for tablerunners, wall hangings and lap throws to use these blocks.

“Hugs & Kisses” features luscious folk art floral designs based on traditional applique of the 1800s. And it is a mystery, too! Oh, boy, what a fun project!!!

We have a whole collection of cool AccuCut Dies that seems to just keep growing! We can cut paper, fabric, foam, plastic and thin sheets of metal. Interesting isn’t it? Makes the possibilities just endless and just boggles the mind. We are quilters, so we see everything in fabric, but we are not particular!
