Holly and Lisa love to machine applique but absolutely hate tracing patterns and cutting out. We found the best iron on adhesive, Soft Fuse, and then started playing around with die cutting fabric already fused with Soft Fuse. It saves tons of time and bad words and let’s us get right to the stuff we like – designing ad sewing! Let us do that for you, too! Our Moms always said it was a good thing to share!

Holly Anderson
Holly Anderson has quilting “in her blood”. With a grandfather who was born on a Mennonite farm, a grandmother who quilted, and being raised next to Amish country in rural Ohio, one can understand why.
• 25 years of experience teaching, judging, curating, and learning in the quilting world, both locally and internationally. Appraiser, certified by AQS, and past president of PAAQT (Professional Appraisers Association – Quilted Textiles). Check out her website at quiltholly.com.
• Besides her life in quilting, Holly’s family life includes husband Ken, son Kyle, married to Allie, and parents of Kaden and Quinn. Keith is the youngest son, now pursuing an adventurous life of music education and performance. They all enjoy long walks on the beach, digging in the sand, soaking up the sun, reading, and travel. And of course, University of Georgia football – Go Dawgs!

Lisa Throneberry
Lisa Throneberry has been playing with a sewing machine her whole life. Doll clothes, costumes, home dec and quilts have always danced around her. She was the seamstress for the theatre at Warren Wilson College, made wedding gowns, draperies and numerous halloween costumes. Her first ‘quilt’ was made in middle school with fabric from old projects and scraps from friends. Nice big 6′ squares, no batting, flannel on the back. Still around to this day!
• 15 years of quilting experience which includes design and commission memory quilts from a loved ones favorite clothing, t-shirts and photos on fabric. Check out her blog at lisatsworld.com.
• Lisa lives in Murfreesboro, TN with her long-suffering husband, Dan, to be near her children, Danielle and Matt. They enjoy sports of every kind, but especially Vanderbilt football. Go Dores!
Holly tends toward traditional and historical in her loves and designs.
Lisa is attracted to anything that glitters and is brightly colored.
If opposites attract, then these two make a great design team!
And they both love SEC football!!!
